Even a faded old flower…
…can become a thing of beauty with a little help from a practiced eye and a careful hand. That’s what I do. I’ve spent the last 50-plus years exploring my world with a camera slung over my shoulder, training my eyes to search for beautiful scenes and honing my skills to capture the beauty I find. And, I find plenty. Beauty abounds in God’s creation. It’s almost everywhere I look.
Mostly, I do my looking pretty close to home. While I do travel some, I take most of my photographs right here at home. I’m blessed to live in a pretty special place–a small farm in southern Middle Tennessee. Inside the house, my wife, Lynn, tends to an amazing orchid collection. Just outside, she manages a beautiful flower garden. A little farther outside, we raise cattle and blackberries and share our land with fascinating wildlife and beautiful wild flowers. Our scenery is beautiful. Our days often start with a glorious sunrise and end in a blazing sunset.
